The glazed backsplash emphasizes the intriguing contrast with the man-made, Nevern stone countertops from Cambria. The client wanted to keep the kitchen traditional while modernizing important items like USB and receptacle outlets relocated to both sides of the island, allowing for easy and out-of-the-way charging. We added attractive and convenient storage, building a custom cabinet with two quartzite shelves on one end of the island – perfect for showcasing cookbooks and smaller kitchen appliances!
