1900s Bathroom Modernized The design inspiration for this project was largely influenced by the architecture and time period of the home. The home was built in the early 1900s, and the aesthetic of the bathroom honors that, the finish selections are a nod to the time period, but we also wanted to create a master bath that was both luxurious and has the function of 21st century amenities. We shaped the design to perfectly fit in the client's antique makeup vanity, and went with a monochromatic color scheme in order to create the illusion of more space.<br />

Floor-to-ceiling white subway tile is beautifully contrasted by black hex floor tiles, while the natural stain on the custom walnut vanity is accentuated by the horizontal wood grain and matte-black hardware. You can never go wrong with black-and-white with touches of wood for a design that will withstand the test of time.

Chicago Loop Condo Remodel A master bath gets a masculine update in this Chicago condo. Charcoal field tile laid in a herringbone pattern adds a bit of a dramatic flair, while matte black hardware accents the neutral shower and tub surround tile. The focal point of the bath lies in the deep veining of the vanity countertop, which is a gorgeous showstopper nestled atop the walnut tone of the shuttered vanity. Pendant lights create a different appeal than the standard wall mounted vanity sconce.

We were able to achieve this by updating certain features like adding a large dark wooden vanity, with a linen closet, a crisp white countertop, neutral colored tile backsplash, off white marble tiled shower walls, and a tiled shower niche that matched the backsplash.
